I knew it was coming up so it wasn’t too much of a shock, but here I am again amongst the ranks of the unemployed. I would like to be depressed about it but after the enormous amount of tragedy in my life I think I can try and enjoy a few days of it.

Generally, the first few days of joblessness is the best: the ability to sleep late (unless you have a cat set for 5am and birds set for 7:30am), being able to watch all the old episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation on Netflix, and lounging around the house in pajamas all day.

Today I treated myself with a trip to Dunkin’ Donuts for an additional coffee.

That’s about all I did, come to think of it. I tried not to use my brain too much. I’m pretty good with that.

In a twist of cosmic humor I received an email with a coupon code for a processor I want. Ah, kick a man when he’s down why don’t you?

I did take a nap today. I had a dream that I kept getting dings in my car. I first noticed it when I detached the integrated motorcycle and noticed that the fairing was all messed up. It ended with me backing up into a parking spot and hitting another car. The damage to the Challenger was completely out of perspective of the impact, as the car was bent in the middle. The interior was changed into a one piece plastic affair, like a Matchbox or Hot Wheels car. I was greatly annoyed when I woke up and it took me a few minutes to realize that my car, the last time I left it, still only had the one ding.
